Deposit/Refunds

​

• A non-refundable deposit of 50% is mandatory. If you choose to pay more than the standard 50% deposit, the excess will be credited toward your total, with 50% remaining as the non-refundable portion.

• For wedding cakes, the remaining balance is due one week prior to the event date.

• For orders placed less than a week before the event, full payment is required at the time of order confirmation. Please note that last-minute orders are non-refundable.

• If payment is not received as agreed, and unless otherwise discussed, your event date will be canceled.

 REFUNDS

• Your initial deposit secures your treats for the event date and is non-refundable and non-transferable. Refunds are not issued under any circumstances unless you have paid more than the 50% deposit; in that case, only the remaining amount from the 50% deposit will be refunded.

• No refunds will be granted within two weeks of the event date.

CANCELLATION

• In the event of a cancellation, deposits are non-refundable and will not be returned under any circumstances.

• Kupcakes and Treats reserves the right to cancel your order. In such cases, you will receive written notification, and your deposit will be refunded within 14 days of the cancellation.

DESCRIPTION

• We do not create exact replicas of existing designs. Instead, we use the ideas and concepts provided to craft a custom cake for you.

• The final date for any changes to the size, style, or flavors of the cake is one week before the pick-up date. Changes requested after this date cannot be guaranteed and may incur additional charges.

• We reserve the right to photograph our cakes and use these images for promotional purposes without compensation.

• Our products may contain or encounter allergens such as milk, wheat, nuts, and soy. It is your responsibility to inform your guests of these potential risks, and we cannot be held accountable for any allergic reactions.

DELIVERY / PICK-UP

• Yes, we so deliver.

• Pick-up locations must be confirmed at the time of order. Available locations include Kingsway Mall or Londonderry Mall.

• Delivery and setup are available for an additional cost, determined by location.

• We are not responsible for any damages that occur after the treats have left our possession and given to the pick up person and/or upon delivery and/or set up at the event location.

Aftercare​

​After pick up: Cakes and cupcakes are best served at room temperature. Allow your cake to be in room temperature for at least 1 hour prior to serving. If the designated cake area is to hot. Please note your treats may start to melt, sweat and change forms in different climates.Once your treats have left our facility, we are not responsible for any damages and will not be responsible to fix it.

 

24 hours orders 

• All sales from our 24-hour menu are final and non-refundable or transferable. While we strive to accommodate every order, unforeseen circumstances may arise, leading to unexpected cancellations. In such cases, a refund will be issued solely for the canceled order.

 

Rentals

• To confirm our services, full payment is required to finalize the booking. Please note that a non-refundable booking fee of 25% will be deducted from the rental amount in the event of cancellation for any reason not attributable to us. Additionally, delivery charges, attendant services, and any supplementary supplies will incur extra costs.

• Deposits must be made prior to the event or can be paid in cash upon pickup or delivery. The full deposit will be refunded upon the return of items in the same condition in which they were received.
